About the FCM empire
Flying Colours Maths is an umbrella organisation for self-employed maths tutors, offering support and coaching on both the teaching and business sides of tutoring.
To be a Flying Colours Maths tutor, you need to:
- be friendly and enthusiastic
- have (or be working towards) a degree in Maths or a science subject
- be committed to helping students understand and succeed in maths.
- be based fairly far away from our existing tutors.
We offer two levels of support, Basic and Advanced. Here’s what you get:

To become a Flying Colours Maths tutor, the first step is to send an email to colin@flyingcoloursmaths.co.uk outlining how you fit into the FCM ethos, and letting us know when would be a good time to call. No need to write a huge essay!
